Poco is trying to make a big comeback in the Indian smartphone rat race with its new Poco X2. It will be the second smartphone from Poco which had made its debut in August 2018. Poco was a subsidiary of Xiaomi that has now become an independent brand.
Poco X2’s 6GB and 64GB variant will be priced at Rs. 18,999 and is rumoured to have variants up to 8GB and 256GB. It is also confirmed that you can grab your Poco handset on Flipkart.
Poco X2 will have four rear cameras including a 64-megapixel sensor. The phone recently compared its camera quality with Realme X2, thus believed to have a similar camera specification, that is 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP and a dual punch hole of 20MP+2MP front camera.
Surprisingly, Poco chose an IPS LCD screen over Super Amoled, but it is said to be the cheapest phone with a 120Hz display. It will also be featuring a side-mounted finger print scanner.
Poco will be powered with a Snapdragon 730G (8nm) and Adreno 618 similar to Realme X2 and Redmi K30. Performance of all the 3 devices should be somewhat similar.
Poco has also confirmed a 27W charger and a 4500mAh battery.
The phone is expected to launch on 4 February, 2020.
