PUBG Ban, relief to gamers as PUBG Corporation intends to pull back its association with the Chinese publishers Tencent Games in India

In the most recent week, the Indian government had given a guidance to boycott 118 Chinese applications in India, including the most perceived and popular fight royale game, PUBG Mobile.The PUBG ban had heavily affected the gaming network who had been disturbed and imparted insights about the ongoing boycott, however here is a help to the versatile gamers. The first PUBG Corporation, a gaming brand (a South Korean organization) has at long last offered an official expression.

PUBG Ban update

According to the recent update, PUBG Corporation has issued a notice stating that they have no intention to continue PUBG Mobile’s franchise with the Shenzhen based company Tencent Games for India and would also initiate to occupy all the production and distribution responsibilities within India. Adding to which the Company also stated that they are aware of the whole tension and respect the decision of Indian Government. This however gives hope that the South Korean gaming company is planning to take control over the recent PUBG ban and would instill their own mechanism to distribute the game. It is also reported that Tencent had lost a huge sum of around $34 billion in the market value, just a day after the ban on 118 Chinese apps in India.

PUBG Corporation is actively monitoring the situation around the recent bans of PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite in India. It has seen an overwhelming amount of support for the game from the country’s player base and would like to thank the community for their passion and enthusiasm.
PUBG Corporation fully understands and respects the measures taken by the government as the privacy and security of player data is a top priority for the company. It hopes to work hand-in-hand with the Indian government to find a solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations.
In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India. Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country. As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.

PUBG’s Statement on PUBG Ban

PUBG Corporation is an subsidiary of South Korean computer game organization Krafton Game Union. It is as of now the engineer and distributer of PUBG that is intended for PC and support gamers.
