AMD’s sales reach a point where it’s sales are now 10 times more than Intel. This data was provided by Mindfactory, a German retailer and one of the few retailers that actually post their sales data for the general populous. This data indicates how the CPU market is performing overall, and how the 3000 series has been a popular among the customers. The charts detailing the changes are from March 2020 to April 2020 have been shared.
The main focus for this post being the the number of CPU’s sold, as this plainly shows how Intel’s sales have gone down in the last 12 months, to the point where AMD has sold 91% of all processors compared to 9% of Team Blue. As of the past few months, it seems that the Ryzen 5 3600 leads the way, while the more performance oriented CPU that is the Ryzen 7 3700X has continued to attract more customers.
